I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, deedleedee

There they are all standing in a row, bum bum bum.

Oh wait, that's a new saddle, not a bunch of coconuts. Yes, in part because of the upcoming weekend bike trip to Harper's Ferry, WV, which will include much cycling and much sweating, followed by much B & B-ing and much swimming! Followed by biking and sweating again. Oh right, I was in the middle of a sentence there: in part because of the upcoming weekend bike trip to Harper's Ferry I indulged and got a Brooks B17 honey (standard, because my hips are narrow and I do not like the wide and short women's saddles). Ahh, so pretty. My bike's classiness level is about to explode.

Here is the before picture:

Sorry for the terrible, terrible quality. It was 9:30 pm last night, and I didn't bring a real camera either.

Halfway there!

If I were a true hipster I would leave those handlebars bare in all their slippery, uncomfortable glory. However, I am not a true hipster. I believe in matching. And comfort.

Please try to ignore that ugly black electrical tape holding my par tape in place. I'll figure something out.

Real pictures to come, not doubt. In the mean time -- look how pretty it is! Look how gleamy and new it is! Yeah, that black rack is going to have to go. It totally clashes. Classiness points for that rack = 0. And we all know classiness is my #1 goal, at all times. That's why I routinely walk my dog in bike shorts and bed head. For the classiness factor.

Ahem.

p.s. I just looked through this post and realized that it would be more aptly titled "Girl can't make up her mind which Instagram filter to use." Sorry about that.
